Biography

Lucie is a political advisor of the EU Commissioner for Justice and Consumer protection where she is following the legislative work on consumer related matters. She also advises the Commissioner on topics related to the EU Green Deal, employment and transport policies.

After an academic career focused on political science and international and European affairs in Brussels and in Bruges at the College of Europe, she continued on that path and prior to joining the Cabinet, she worked in the EU institutions and for the EU affairs office of a multinational company.

Lucie is also involved in local politics; she is an elected member of the local council of social affairs in a municipality of Brussels and Vice-President of a local section of the Belgian Liberal Party (MR).
