Biography
After graduating in Economics from an Italian University and attending a Master’s degree in Advanced Finance from IPE Business School, Rita joined Vertis SGR S.p.A., a venture capital company specialised
in investments in startups and SMEs, as first Investment Analyst and then as Associate.
Rita left Vertis in 2016 and joined CDP Group, as Investment Manager of funds investments team, promoting and structuring the set-up of venture capital and technology transfer funds, also in partnership with European Investment Fund.
In September 2020, Rita moved to CDP Venture Capital SGR as Senior Investment Manager of Technology Transfer Fund.
Her mission is to structure, set-up and launch highly specialised technology transfer/venture capital funds, to boost and further develop Italian market and foster innovation and tech transfer processes - through the birth of deep tech startups - among all the suitable stakeholders involved in the process.
Rita is passionate about geopolitics, technologies, sport and travelling.
