Biography
Claire is a Partner at Osborne Clarke's Paris office and specialises in Intellectual Property, Data and Commercial with a strong focus on the advertising and marketing sector.
Claire has a varied practice: from traditional Intellectual Property to any advertising related issues, going through IT, data, consumer, commercial and regulatory aspects. Her practice covers legal advice, audits and contracts as well as litigation.
She advises Internet pure players (digital platforms, adtech companies, etc.) as well as brick-and-mortar businesses in various fields as in media, fashion, food, bank, health, transport, energy, real estate. She can help with connected products, CRM programs, advertising campaigns, gambling, TM portfolio management, licensing and partnering, franchising, data compliance, e-commerce and commercial disputes.
Claire was admitted to the Paris bar in 2001 and holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from Paris II- Panthéon Assas University. After her first professional experience as in-house counsel for Gallimard Jeunesse musique, she became an associate in the Communication department of Deprez Guignot & Associés Law Firm (DDG) before setting up her own firm in 2007 and then joining the founding team of Osborne Clarke’s Paris office as Partner in 2013.
Claire also delivers some training courses about advertising and new media at the private Paris law school HEAD, is a regular speaker at the ANA/BAA Marketing Law Conference in Chicago and provides some pro bono advices to the association PARIS ARTISTES which supports various artists.
