Biography

Ioana Banach works as Managing Director at the Green European Foundation, which is a political foundation affiliated to but independent from the European Green Party and Green Group in the European Parliament. Previously she worked as European Affairs Manager at the European Association of Communications Agencies and trained at the European Parliament and the United Nations.

She has worked in non-profit and political organisations in Romania, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, specialising in education and capacity building programmes, as well as health and social policies. For the past 6 years, she has been engaged in developing online courses for training thousands of learners from over 40 countries.

In her spare time, she promotes women’s health and supports endometriosis patients, and loves to scuba dive and play the ukulele.
