Biography
Bi-lingual in French and English, Judith has 17 years’ experience in the Telecom industry. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Pre-Doctoral course in Telecommunications, Judith started her professional life as a Voice Engineer at Télésonique, a startup Telecom company. 3 months after Judith joined Télésonique, the Operations Director left due to burnout so Judith was given the opportunity to manage the Operations Department. As a consequence, Judith rapidly developed skills to manage stress before moving to Orange. With Orange for over 15 years, Judith held various positions in the Voice Support team and the Customer Service Management team. As Customer Service Director (CSD) for a major outsourcing client Japan Tobacco International (JTI), Judith manages the Operations team of Customer Service managers, Customer Service Analysts and Service Desk agents located all around the world. Certified ITIL expert, Judith has been awarded twice the “CSD of the Year” award. Judith’s colleagues refer to her as “the one you want to have in your team, she is delivering and has an extremely high working potential. She is reliable, loyal and has a positive impact on team spirit…. she is what we would call a high profile” Judith’s resistance to stress was challenged when her Operations team was notified that none of the 23 000 JTI users worldwide could use the Lync Instant Messaging Service. The challenge was to ensure that each expert knew which checks to perform and when to report back to the crisis team. It took 7 hours of service outage in crisis mode to identify the root causes. The outcome highlighted the importance of consistently checking for understanding of even the very basic elements. Judith actively mentors, supports and provides leadership within her team allowing them to evolve, gain experience and progress. Judith values the mentoring and teaching within her leadership role since those are activities which she has regularly performed throughout her school years as well as her professional life.
