Annual Gathering in Brussels

On 22nd May 2025, 140 members and guests of the WIL network gathered at the iconic Egmont Palace in Brussels for our Annual Gathering, held in partnership with Kering. In light of today’s shifting geopolitical landscape, the event explored how Europe and its leaders are responding to global challenges across sectors. The day began with a dedicated session for Talents on the WTP programme, followed by discussions on defence, diplomacy, finance, technology and sustainability. Speakers included Dame Menna Rawlings, British Ambassador to France; MEP Eva Maydell; and senior leaders from BlackRock, LSEG/LCH, Daimler Truck AG, Zscaler and Kering. The event closed with a keynote by European Commissioner Jessika Roswall and a networking reception.
