Biography
Teresa is in charge of coordinating the trade and investment relations of the European Union with Moldova and the United Kingdom (in respect of Northern Ireland). Prior to that, she represented the European Commission in the Secretariat of the Ukraine Donor Platform, which coordinates economic support for Ukraine among international partners. She was key in the Secretariat’s creation and establishing it as a reliable partner for the G7, Ukraine and other stakeholders. Teresa was also in charge of enforcing the EU’s rule of law general regime of conditionality, having been closely involved in its first ever case. She was further involved in several EU countries’ recovery and resilience plans following the Covid-19 crisis and the design of the EU Just Transition Mechanism. Teresa holds a master’s degree from Rotterdam School of Management, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences from Vienna University of Economics and Business and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies from University of Vienna.
