Biography
Eleni advises the European Commission in the implementation of projects that promote structural reforms, currently focusing on the topic of public finances and the green transition.Prior to joining EY, Eleni spent five years in interest representation for civil society and the financial services industry, focused primarily on sustainable finance but also on wider regulatory topics affecting the banking, asset management and index industries. She then joined the European Commission on an interim basis, where she worked on the implementation of technical support projects linked to the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the financial sector, as well as on policy coordination, in DG REFORM. She has a BA in International Relations and Ibero-American Studies from Saint Louis University and the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, has undertaken further short-term courses in finance and public policy at the LSE, the Graduate Institute in Geneva, and the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. She is currently a student of the Executive Masters in Public Administration at the LSE, where she is focusing on Public and Development Economics. Eleni is very passionate finding ways to promote healthy working environments that allow everyone to reach their full potential.
