Biography
As an Account Manager at Lenovo, Irene Vestjens supports the Dutch Central Government in achieving its AI, security, and sustainability goals. Passionate about CO₂ reduction and circular IT, she leverages Lenovo's broad portfolio to deliver impactful, sustainable technology.
Before joining Lenovo, Irene gained valuable experience at Poly (Plantronics & Polycom), where she built a high-performing inside sales team. While achieving 50% female representation, she also emphasized diversity in backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment with a strong sense of psychological safety.
Irene’s curiosity about different cultures led her to live and work in the USA and UK, shaping her ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives with an open-minded and adaptable view.
Beyond her role, Irene is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the IT sector. She co-launched Women in Lenovo Benelux and is committed to advancing sustainability initiatives across her customer base. Known for her collaborative nature and dedication to equality, Irene ensures digital transformation aligns with broader goals of sustainability and inclusion.
