Biography

Philippa King is the Deputy CEO of It’s a Penalty, a global initiative aimed at combating human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. With over 15 years of strategic leadership in International Development, Human Rights, and anti-Human Trafficking, she has shaped impactful campaigns, led organisations and engaged with leaders and communities to influence public attitudes, policies and practices to ensure human rights are respected, implemented, and enforced.

Her roles have spanned Managing Director at Shiva Foundation and strategic positions at Tearfund and the WEA, where she influenced policies, secured significant funding, and forged cross-sector partnerships.
