Biography

Myriam works as a Legal and Policy officer in the field of product safety in the European Commission. She follows in particular legislative, implementation and international work.

Prior to that, Myriam was a research assistant at University Paris Descartes and did research work at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (London), as well as at the Center of Studies and Research in Health Law - Cepedisa (São Paulo). Myriam holds a Master’s degree in Economic Law from Sciences Po (Paris) and a Master’s degree in Health Law from University Paris Descartes. She completed a PhD at Université Paris Descartes and in the network of the French national school of public health (Ehesp) on the role of procedures to handle risks in health and environmental law.

She is passionate about exploring the role of new technologies in the field of consumer protection.
