Biography
Lucile works as an Economic Analyst for the European Commission's department for economic and financial affairs (DG ECFIN). She analyses developments on the international financial architecture, with a focus on sovereign debt restructurings, the global network of regional financing arrangements, and health financing. She also coordinates the EU's participation in the G20 Finance Track.
Prior to this, Lucile worked on fintech and sustainable finance policy as well as press relations in the European Commission’s department for financial services and financial stability (DG FISMA). She also gained experience on European political and economic issues in the European Commission’s competition department (DG COMP), the former EU Representation in the UK, the French Prime Minister’s Secretariat General for European Affairs, the French Senate, and in an EU public affairs consultancy.
Lucile has a background in public policy, economics and law. She holds a Bachelor in European Social and Political Studies from the University College London and a Master in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, where she was awarded the IPLI Foundation scholarship.
Lucile is strongly committed to gender equality and female empowerment and represented France at the 2016 Girls20 Summit (now Fora Global Summit) at the margins of the G20 Hangzhou Summit.
