Biography
Alicia started off her legal career training in London at international law firm Norton Rose, before moving to Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP on qualification. She spent 6 years working for the London office of the Wall Street firm Weil specialising in IP, IT, data protection and commercial work working on a range of mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and litigious matters. Alicia moved to Expedia in 2012, taking her first position as an in-house counsel and became quickly involved in large affiliate deals, advertising work and managing Expedia's travel agency programme. She has since been promoted twice and moved from Brand Expedia over to the B2B business of Expedia Partner Solutions, leading a team of 6 lawyers providing advice and support for that business. In her spare time, Alicia balances a hectic athletic programme racing at an elite national and international level for a semi-professional cycling team.
