Biography
Eva works as a Policy officer/Team leader in the Product Safety and Rapid Alert System Unit in DG Justice and Consumers. She joined the European Commission in 2014 and is now mainly dealing with strategic international relations with China, the United States and multilateral international cooperation in the product safety field.
Before, Eva was a project-based consultant for public sector and not for profit organisations. For more than ten years she has been managing several international projects in different fields such as education, local development, migration, labour policies etc. She also worked as a consultant for international business development.
She holds a master’s degree in Economics with a specialisation in political economics at the University of Venice and a PhD in social and cognitive sciences.
Eva is a Croatian and Italian national, genuinely passionate about policies aimed at improving daily life of citizens and at the same time very enthusiastic about different cultures. She has a 11-year-old son and she loves connecting with different people and exploring new ideas.
