Biography
Eva works as a Deputy Head of the Product Safety and Rapid Alert System Unit in DG Justice and Consumers. She joined the European Commission in 2014 and, along with deputising for the Head of Unit she is specifically dealing with international relations and aspects of consumer product safety, enforcement initiatives and flagship events in the field.
Before, Eva was a project-based consultant for public sector and not for profit organisations. For more than ten years she has been managing several international projects in different fields such as education, local development, migration, labour policies etc. She also worked as a consultant for international business development.
She holds a master’s degree in Economics with a specialisation in political economics at the University of Venice and a PhD in social and cognitive sciences.
Eva is a Croatian and Italian national, mother of two, very enthusiastic about different cultures and genuinely passionate about policies aimed at improving daily life of citizens.
