Biography
After having worked in public relations and in the advertising industry in Romania, Anca joined the Legal & Corporate Affairs department of Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2009, on a one-year assignment within the team running the government affairs strategy at European Union level. During then following two years, she coordinated the work of then newly-established European Network for Women in Leadership (WIL Europe).
Anca then joined SAMMAN Law & Corporate Affairs, a law firm specialised in public affairs located in Paris and Brussels, where she gained an in-depth knowledge of policy and regulatory issues in connection to the digital sector. She is currently in charge of growing the EU public affairs activities of the firm, working especially on policy developments of interest for online service providers and the energy sector.
A Romanian national, Anca earned a degree in political sciences (University Al. I. Cuza, Iasi, Romania) in 2008.
