Biography
Kerstin is a renowned expert in IT law and Data Protection with nearly 25 years of experience, both inhouse and in private practice. She currently is Deputy General Counsel and Head of the Business Legal Team at Capgemini, one of Europe's largest service providers for technology and digital transformation, and Of Counsel at Meister Rechtsanwälte (law firm) in Munich. Previous stations in her career include Baker & McKenzie (Frankfurt/Toronto) and Simmons-Simmons as well as more than ten years as Complex Deals Expert at DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global IT services leader.
Kerstin specializes in complex / multinational outsourcing and managed services projects, XaaS and cloud agreements and all other kinds of IT contracts as well as data protection matters, in particular in the areas of international data transfers and employee data protection. She also advises on industry-specific regulatory and copyright topics, especially in the finance and automotive sectors. Further fields of expertise include cybersecurity, IP and compliance issues as well as general commercial questions. Kerstin is an author of legal publications in German, French and English and also a sought-after tri-lingual seminar leader and conference speaker.
