Biography
Rita Malavasi joint Amazon Italia as Public Policy Senior Manager, Operations, enhancing her career path towards Institutional Relations and Public Affairs. She started her carrier in Brussels as Public Policy Manager for the Emilia-Romagna Region in charge of International Development and Relations, Trade, Innovation and Research policy and related EU programs. During her experience at EU level, she have been nominated Director of an European Network of 12 EU Regions willing to contribute and to influence the implementation of the Lisbon Agenda. Returned to Italy after 8 years, she served as the Director of the International and European Affairs Department of the Italian Association for Small and Medium enterprises and Craft sector for 3 years. Later on, she had been in charge of managing the International Business Development Unit in 2 different consultancy companies: Warrant Hub – Tinexta Group - and Octagona, implementing international projects both in terms of on line and off line international sales strategy and green field projects, partnering with Italian Trade Association, Banks and Public Institutions. She hold a University degree in Languages and Foreign Literature and three master’s degrees: Management and Local Development; International Relations and Strategic Marketing Management. Innovations, new ideas, cross cultural management and continuous improvements of her skills are the fundamental base of her professional and personal path. She is a proud mother of two boys and she enjoys her free time exploring the world together with her family.
