Valerie Ferret is public affair and CSR manager at Dassault Systèmes. Valerie graduated from Montpellier Law School in 2002 and holds an advanced postgraduate diploma (DEA) in European Laws. She started her career in France as legal counsel in a law firm, supporting the managing partner for a broad base of corporate and individual clients, providing counsel on both advisory and litigation matters. In 2004, she joined a fast-growing private postal services operator in Luxemburg to create the in-house legal function. She managed all corporate legal functions and coordinate the defense, which resulted in dismissal of a claim by a public operator threatening the company's survival. She moved to the US in 2007 and became Executive Director of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Boston. She was responsible for the full management of the non-profit, member-supported organization and increased its budget by 50%. She advocated the French business community to Massachusetts Government, to help foster French-American business cooperation, and developed business connections for company members. She joined Dassault Systèmes in December 2008. As public affair and CSR manager, she is responsible for developing Dassault Systèmes' network and leadership in the digital economy for sustainable innovation.
