Eugenia Bieto became Director General of ESADE in 2010 after spending 4 years as Deputy Director General.  She is also an Associate Professor in ESADE’s Department of Business Policy and in 1997 was the founder of ESADE’s Entrepreneurship Centre which she directed for many years.
She participates as a professor of Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management in international Executive Education programmes aimed at managers of large companies. 
In the past she has collaborated with various companies and different public authorities in developing an entrepreneurial culture and setting up economic development and/or innovation programmes.
Today, she serves on various boards and committees, among which: the Board of Assessment for Reactivating Growth and the Economy to the Autonomous Government of Catalonia, the Board of Directors of ESADE Creapolis, the Executive Committee of Ramon Llull University, the Board of Trustees of the European Foundation for Management Development. She is a member of ESADE’s Chair in LeadershipS and Democratic Governance and has recently served as jury member for the international Principe de Asturias Awards 2011.
She has written and co-authored various articles, papers and book chapters on entrepreneurship and innovation.
